Must be able to commit to a 40
hours per week schedule with no attendance issues.
Summary/Objective The assembler assembles products until they are completed to acceptance test procedures and routing operations.
This position follows standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Essential Functions 1.
Follows standard work instruction, quality alerts, and visual aids to perform assembly in each functioning zone of the assembly process.
2.
Performs assembly line processes to complete assemblies and sub-assemblies.
3.
Attaches appropriate labels and tags to product.
4.
Ensures all product is maintained and routed in the proper locations.
5.
Reports non-conforming and/or defective materials or questionable conditions.
6.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
7.
Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
8.
Completes all required paperwork accurately and timely.
Education & Experience 1.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
2.
Good oral and written communication skills.
3.
One year of related experience and/or training is preferred.
